When Branden first asked me to marry him and we began reading wedding blogs and thinking about what we wanted for our big day, it quickly dawned on me just how many decisions there are to make when planning a wedding. There’s a whole world of stationery and flowers and music and colors and it can become overwhelming almost immediately. There’s one thing though, that I believe, is the most important decision of all. The officiant. The ceremony itself is the whole reason for the entire wedding after all. And if you’re like me, you want something personalized and unique rather than just reading the same old vows out of a book. I knew immediately that I wanted an officiant who takes the time to really gets know the couples he works with. I lucked out since I happen to have a dear friend who just happens to be a wedding officiant and pastor. Planning my wedding has really made me realize what amazing and talented friends I have all around me. But here’s the best part…you can have them all around you too!
